Hebburn Central is a major community hub in South Tyneside, bringing together a library, swimming pool, gym, dance studios and community spaces under one roof. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Opened in 2015 as part of the wider regeneration of Hebburn town centre, the award-winning building was designed to reflect the area\u2019s strong industrial and shipbuilding heritage through its striking steel fa\u00e7ade and modern architectural detailing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Expanded metal mesh from The Expanded Metal Company<\/a> was used within the project, helping contribute to the building\u2019s distinctive appearance and contemporary industrial character<\/p>\n\n\n\n
