This award-winning shipping container home in County Derry, designed by architect Patrick Bradley and featured on Grand Designs, was built in 2014 and remains one of the most recognised modern residential projects in the UK. The Bilbao expanded metal mesh from the ArchitEx range is used as a key external element, working alongside Corten steel to introduce texture, depth, and controlled transparency. It supports both the visual impact and practical performance of the façade, helping to soften the structure within the landscape while maintaining durability and low maintenance.
